Assessment and Evaluation:

Assessment naturally occurs as children share their use of a strategy within the group. Anecdotal teacher assessment is ongoing as children learn these strategies. The use of written or oral reporting when children are practicing alone is a good measure of a child’s ability to use each strategy.
