Overview:
Middle school students are often
asked to do research papers, projects, and presentations
using multiple types of resources. Students must learn
to become alert users of web sites. They need to understand
that unlike books and other reference resources that
anyone can post a web page on just about any subject
or topic. They must learn to become discerning users
of web content and pick and choose their references
carefully. This lesson will introduce middle school
students to one method of critically evaluating information
from the web.
